If Dog's mercury Mercurialis perennis had interesting looking flowers, my walks would be a lot prettier, unfortunately, they're a little dull, but they create a lovely green carpet across our woodlands in spring
This is Marsh Marigold Caltha palustis. a few posts back i thought something else was this species, but i obviously had no idea what i was talking about. this is much bigger and seemingly unmistakeable
