more snowdrops

wollaton park's gardens had good numbers of snowdrops popping up, allowing me to enjoy these early flowers on a more intimate level than last week! they really are wonderful plants, and they're a sure sign of spring, which is GREAT :)

First Snowdrop

I noticed the first snowdrops growing when i was going through thurgarton on the bus on thursday (the 4th). Looking forward to finding some more and hopefully getting some photos.

January's Flowers

Only four flowering plants seen this year, along with some catkins growing on a willow sp.
So far we have

• Groundsel (Brackenhurst)
  
• Ragwort (Alfreton Road)
• White Dead Nettle (Colwick Park)
  
• Common Gorse (Colwick Park)
